Les arènes de Nîmes avec une branche d'olivier et un ciel bleu
Giving a warm welcome to Europe
As an integral part of it’s programme of education for European citizenship, the Lycée Saint Vincent de Paul offers:

- a range of activities on the theme of Europe: Club Europe , European week, visits by European personalities in association with the Maison de l’Europe in Nimes.

- several European programmes in association with the Socrates Leonardo agency.
A young Hungarian will be welcomed into the Lycée as an English language assistant to enable students to improve their level of English and to increase their knowledge of the country and its culture and the possibilities for studying in Hungary, promoting mobility within the specifications of the Erasmus and Leonardo programmes.

The signing of the Erasmus charter with the European Agency has enabled our BTS students to follow a further study course of between 3 and 12 months in a partner university without additional enrolment fees. The ECTS system (European Credit Transfer System) enables us to accept foreign students whose study programme has been validated by the partner university.

The Erasmus charter specifies the rights and duties of all Erasmus students.

The period of study abroad can also be accompanied by a professional work placement as outlined in the Leonardo programme or another.

A European programme granting a mobility allowance (financial, linguistic, or cultural assistance) to students wishing to find a professional placement (as part of their study programme) in another European country. This option is certified by the Europass-Formation document.

The Lycée Saint Vincent de Paul has signed 2 contracts with the European Agency:

- one of which applies to students of the Lycée Professionnel: professional diplomas in commerce, services, accounting, secretarial studies in the European Spanish section, with a minimum period of 13 weeks in Spain

- the other applies to all BTS students at the Lycée for studies in all European countries.
